Who’s It For
Qualified for Kona 25′ IMWC? Always wanted to train on the infamous course that shaped Ironman? Want to escape the rain, snow and cold of winter? This camp has something for everyone (of ALL skill levels), and is sure to motivate you while building your triathlon skills. Remember, your best begins in the off-season. Start here at Kona Camp ’25.
What To Expect
Join us in Kona for 4 days of elite training with Flick, surrounded by good people, warm weather (70-80 temps), supported training and something for all athletes.
- 4 full days of training (all skill levels); including
- Open water swims – from the pier on the race course
- Pool swims – at the Aquatic Centre
- Rides – on the famous Queen K
- Runs – down Ali’i Dr. where dreams have been made and broken
- Yoga/breath work workshops
- Team dinners each evening
Camp Support
- On site massage therapist (for a fee)
- SAG support/ KAYAK Support
- Local bike shops with Tri bike knowledge
Schedule
Day 1: Thursday 1/30
7:15 – 8:15am – Kona Pier (1.2 Mile OWS)
10:30 – 2:30pm – Ride Queen K (Kona to Waikola)
2:30-3:00pm – 30 min run OTB
6:15pm – Team dinner
Massages (2pm – 6pm)
Day 2: Friday 1/31
7:00 – 1:00pm – Long ride on Queen K (SAG supported)
1:15 – 5:15pm – Pool
6:15pm – Team Dinner
Massages (1:00-6:00pm)
Day 3: Saturday 2/1
8:00 – 10:00am – 2.4 mi. OWS (KAYAK Support)
11:00 – 1:30pm – Long run
3:00pm – Yoga / breath work
6:00pm – Team dinner
Massages (1:00 – 5:00pm)
Day 4: Sunday 2/2
8:00 – 3:00pm – Long ride (SAG supported)
5:00pm – Team dinner + drinks
Massages (1:00 – 5:00pm)

About Flick
Felicity “Flick” Joyce is Founder & Head Coach of Team Flick. She studied exercise science at Sydney University before becoming a rising star in ultramarathon. She later turned her focus to triathlon, where she became World Champion in the Triathlon Long Distance Aquabike.
Flick is also a seasoned Kona IM WC athlete, competing year-over-year since 2012. She is the current 6hr Time Trial course record holder, lead AG at the Kona IM WC on the Queen K in 22’/ 23′, and recently served on the 23′ Kona IM WC Hoka Women in Sport Panel.
One of her passions is founding/running Kona Camp to help athletes of all abilities prepare for the rigors of competing at Kona IM WC.
